Tomato Lake Kiosk is open Wednesdays to Sundays from 9am to 4pm (closed on Monday and Tuesdays). Please note the kiosk will be closed from Monday 24 December and will reopen Wednesday 2 January. The lake is also home to diverse birdlife including ducks, ibis and swans. A short video tour of the lake can be viewed here.
The park boasts a large lake, surrounded by a 1.64km cycle path. BBQ facilities and a kiosk (open weekends) on-site. Picnics, strolling around the lake, wildlife and children's playground.
Tomato Lake is a popular recreational reserve located in the suburb of Belmont, a suburb 7km to the east of the Perth CBD. It contains wetlands, a lake with an island, remnant vegetation and grassy parklands.
With a modern shaded playground and large grassy area, this is a great place for an afternoon with the kids. BBQs and picnic tables mean you can bring your own food, or swing into the kiosk for a treat, open Wednesday to Sunday, 9am-4pm.
This annual concert always features a variety of top quality musicians and fantastic entertainment, offering something that the whole family can enjoy. Jazz in the Park will be held at the picturesque Tomato Lake, in Kewdale, on Sunday 9th November, 2014, between 4pm and 6pm.
