Moonlight Cinema Melbourne

What a great location, great set up and great experience. I recommend you get there an hour before the movie starts our even more if you want a bean bag which are $9. They run out pretty really. You also want to get there early so your not to far away from the screen, but the screen is really big so it is ok if you are far. In the all a great night.

Possibility to rent pea bags and get food and drinks there, but we just went with our own blankets and had a picnic. Beautiful park and the sunset behind the screen was amazing before the movie started. Only negative part was that the movie was either missing one of the sound tracks completely! The music was very quiet compared to other sounds and some fighting scenes made us laugh because of the missing sounds. Oh well, I gave them feedback so maybe that'll be fixed for the next time because we are definitely going!

Really nice to be out in the open and see the night skies and be with nature. The movie tonight was Spiderman and it was supposed to be a great movie but we somehow did not get the full impact as the sound was very low/soft. I understand this is an outdoor movie and there are noise regulations to comply with but an action movie without the encompassing sound is an incomplete experience. Nice experience but will most likely not do it again. Good to try it once.

Visited the Moonlight Cinema last night with my best friend, and saw The Boy Erased. We were extremely lucky with the weather as it did not rain despite ominous clouds. We arrived at 7pm for a 8:45pm start, and there was an overall relaxed and chilled kind of ambiance and vibe. I loved the whole evening, from the welcoming attitude of the workers to the ease and comfort of watching the movie, and the calm serenity of being immersed in nature. Thank you so much! 5 stars for Moonlight Cinema.
