Great 3D experience!
Today we took our son to see Volcanoes 3D ????
The documentary film itself was great, the cinema is well set up, with the seats directly in front being high enough that the screen is still clearly visible, even if a taller person is seated directly in front. The screen is huge too, they say it's the largest in the world. I would definitely recommend a trip here to watch a movie.
Watched a couple of movies this year and the screen is so huge, sound effect so good, I felt like I was a part of the movie. Parking is also really convenient, only $5 with a movie ticket after 5pm (I think).
chairs comfortable, 3D glasses upgraded, I had enjoyed my time there!
Their service is great. Specially over the phone. Once we couldn't find our ticket in our email and the confirmation was not sent to us for our tickets. We were already in the city ready to watch a movie and they were trying their best to find the ticket by calling us back and forth. When we went to watch the movie they provided the ticket that we have paid for and didn't get and also provided us two complimentary tickets because of the trouble we went through. I didn't expect that kind of service from a cinema. we are big league members and we will continue to be every year as it is so worth it than any other cinema membership in Australia. Love IMAX! Always better in Big screen!
GREAT PLACE TO SEE 3D OR PANORAMIC MOVIES
Its located right next to the Melbourne Museum so you can make a day of it with kids!
The Cinema is within the Carlton Gardens with very easy public transport access by tram on Victoria and Nicholson Streets and the Parliament underground train station just a few minutes walk away.
The cinema is wheelchair friendly

Last week we went to see Bohemian Rhapsody at IMAX Melbourne Museum. We have only seen documentaries there before and the first time we saw a film that wasn't 3D. It was a fantastic venue to watch such a great film.
