I couldn't recommend Adam and the Armstrong's School of Singing highly enough. Despite my love of music, I was always terrified of the thought of singing, but new that it was something I would enjoy. Adam's energy, knowledge, encouragement and enthusiasm made all the difference. The exercises are fun, make sense, get you out of your comfort zone and with constant feedback, things just started to click for me. If you have thought about giving it a go, and not sure where to start, please reach out to Adam and his team.

I have been taking singing lessons with Adam for more than a year now and absolutely love it. I didn't have any singing experience before I started and was completely unsure, but that has changed! Adam always finds the right exercises to alleviate strain in the voice or body, and make my singing feel easier and more free. I have gotten so much enjoyment out of the lessons, bi-annual school concerts, and practice at home!

I've been looking forward to my lessons each week for the 7 years I've been with Adam. It's been a memorable journey and I've developed confidence through his teaching; both in my voice and myself as a person. The opportunity to perform through school concerts each year presents an exhilarating and unique experience that would be hard to find anywhere else! I have nothing but glowing recommendations for this school.

During the 5 years that I have been taking lessons with Adam I have improved so much. My range, control, breathing, quality of voice and confidence all better. It is great to see the growth in other students, young and old, when I get to hear them sing at the school concerts. I suppose if you know nothing about singing some of the exercises included in a lesson may seem a bit weird, surprising and challenging. If all you want to do is sing your favourite pop song first lesson stick to the hairbrush microphone and your mirror; at least you'll have an audience that appreciates your untrained voice. If you want to truly learn how to sing, Armstrong's School of Singing is a great place to start, and stay.

I've had lessons from a few different singing teachers, and Adam is far and away the best I've encountered. He is rigorous and thorough, and I always know exactly why he is giving me a certain exercise or what he's trying to achieve. My voice has always been a sensitive part of my life, and Adam makes me feel comfortable and secure while exploring and developing my potential.
