With the demise of the One Tree Hillclimb in 2002, motor sport in the local area was in a decline. In August 2006, a small group of local motoring enthusiasts met and resolved to "Re-climb the Hill", and so the Ararat Car Club Inc. was formed.In 2008 we held our first hillclimb at One Tree Hill with great success. since then we have striven to continue providing a safe venue
