  Great emergency department. Very helpful staff who communicate effectively and keep patients up to date. Since no one ever plans to be at emergecy ..... it is good to know that staff are there to help.

  Travelling through Mackay and just spent 12 hours in ED with severe chest pain. The doctors and nurses were fantastic, caring and thoughtful. Doctors checked every possible scenario before discharging, their thoroughness was amazing!
