Bundjalung National Park is always open but may have to close at times due to poor weather or fire danger. Park entry fees: $8 per vehicle per day. Buy a pass; Alstonville office 02 6627 0200 Contact hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm. Closed for lunch, 12pm to 1pm.
Black Rock campground in Bundjalung National Park is a great spot behind the dunes not far from Evans Heads. There is a lovely swimming hole in Jerusalem Creek and a canoe launching platform. The dunes ensure the sites are sheltered but all the sites are numbered and are separated by trees and shrubs.

The Bundjalung National Park is located off the Pacific Highway between Grafton and Ballina on the NSW north coast. This spectacular 360⁰ vista overlooks the tree canopy of Bundjalung National Park at the mouth of the Clarence River to Yamba where pristine coastal beaches offer a birds-eye-view of the rock platform and the ocean. Whales and pods of dolphins are often spotted during July - November as they cruise close to this headland.
