(March 25, 2023)We dined here for 2 nights and I must say the food was great. The parmas and pizzas are yummy. We had some strange attitude of one of the lady bar staff not really smiling and sour both nights. At one stage I stood at the bar trying to purchase a drink while she chatted to a local for a good couple of minutes blatantly ignoring me.
Then on the last night, I ordered 2 meals, and requested another plate only to be told that it would be $10 just for a bare plate. It was the manager that was taking the order. Very weird thing to charge for, and basically put me off what would have been a great dinning Experience. -

(February 17, 2023)I stayed here for fifo, I think that with the amount of people that go through this place for similar reasons that the owner would be making enough money to invest on the upkeep of this place. The place is just not maintained to a reasonable standard and everything is sub standard. I come out of the communal showers feeling dirtier than I went in, you'd almost want to wear thongs while showering. My room wasn't serviced once during the 7 day stay.
The food was ok with decent portion sizes and the service was good but the general upkeep of the place made me second guess if what I was eating would give me the runs, but I ran the gauntlet and got through unscaved.
Ordering meals was painful as the owner would run each order 20 meters back to the kitchen evertime an order was placed, I'm no rocket scientist but there must be easier ways and shows the lack of willingness to invest in keeping the place up to date.
Could be a really great spot but the owners don't do it any justice. -

(January 17, 2023)This is an amazing outback hotel. Seriously great food, comprehensive menu, prompt and friendly service, and the atmosphere is what you would expect from a small country town. Just tremendous atmosphere. My wife and I absolutely loved it, and can thoroughly recommend it.
