The Jarrah Forest Lodge (JFL) was originally established for forestry cadets back in 1952. It is a part of the Forest Discovery Centre and offers great value backpacker style accommodation for individuals or groups. It can sleep up to 52 people in a range of single, twin and family rooms.

Both the Forest Discovery Centre and Jarrah Forest Lodge are leased from the Department for Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions. As a result we are not allowed to have dogs on the grounds in the same way that they are not allowed in any state forest. What you will need to bring to the Jarrah Forest Lodge:

A tree-top viewing platform allows visitors to enjoy the bush at canopy height and a hand made timber cutter's hut and campfire area can be reached from one of the bush trails. Just across the track, the Jarrah Forest Lodge offers short or longer stay accommodation in a bush garden setting for individuals or groups of up to 30.
