    Stunning property in the Ferguson Valley, a wonderful way to experience the natural environment and nearby wineries and restaurants!

    We had an absolutely beautiful weekend away staying at Skating Goose Farm in the Minnie pod. I booked this as a surprise for my husband as part of our 20 year anniversary. The accomodation is simply beautiful with all the little luxuries you’d want. I loved the St James Supply Co soap bars, keeping things plastic free and the home made bath bombs. We ordered the bbq meat pack which although is 1 serve for 2 people, fed us across two nights. The views are stunning, whether it’s from the bath, lying in bed or out on the balcony, overlooking the farm and rolling hills was heaven. There was so much to do in the area to keep us busy although I could have just stayed in bed relaxing and soaking in the views. Enough wineries, breweries, walks and of course the Wellington dam mural to fill your time. Some lovely swimming spots like Long pool or honeymoon pool not too far away. Tansy was a great host who made us feel very welcome. I look forward to visiting again, maybe in winter so I can enjoy the fireplace.
