This botanical nirvana, 30km northeast of Jurien Bay, protects 900 plant species, many of them rare and endemic, such as the pine banksia (Banksia tricupsis) and Mt Lesueur grevillea (Grevillea batrachioides).
Parks and Wildlife Jurien Bay, (08) 9688 6000. More information on AccessWA. Lesueur National Park. Drive the 18.5km bitumen Lesueur Scenic Drive which has regular stopping points. At Drummonds there are interpretive signs and a 250m trail to Wilson Lookout that is sealed and low gradient.
The start of the trail can be accessed from the Cockleshell Gully picnic area off Cockleshell Gully Road. A bushwalk through wildflower country to the top of Mt Peron in the spectacular Lesueur National Park. The trail winds through a diverse landscape featuring low heath, small sections of Wandoo woodlands, winding creek lines and high along the scarp to Mt Peron.
Lesueur National Park is a must see for all wildflower lovers and botanists with more than 900 species of flora identified within the park. A sealed loop road drive circles the park and there are optional bush walks available as well.

Lesueur Walk Trail is located in the Lesueur National Park, approximately 30 kilometres from Jurien Bay, a three hour drive north of Perth, Western Australia. After driving half of the Lesueur Scenic Drive, you arrive at Drummonds day use area at the foot of the GaiRoadner Range.
