I feel so much more confident and stronger since I joined the core restore class. After my daughter was born I was a bit anxious about exercising due to pelvic pain and my abdominal separation. Jen has shown me some valuable things that help me in my day to day life and make me want to be active again. Thanks again Jen.
I would highly recommend the core restore class. I was very keen to get back into exercise post baby and didn't really appreciate that you don't just 'bounce back' after having a baby. The class is a great way to learn pelvic floor and core exercises but also awareness of these in every day life as a mum. It's also lovely to meet other mums and be able to still have baby in the same room.
I have recently completed Jen's Core Restore class & continued with a series of group personal training sessions. Jen creates very safe and supportive environment, being a mum herself, the sessions are structured to increase strength and confidence to resume exercise after having your baby. The Core Restore class really helped me regain strength and feel my core and pelvic floor muscles engage again. The best part is your baby can be with you at the classes, right beside you on the floor or in the pram! Perfect for trying to juggle postpartum return to exercise and caring for my new baby.
I participated in Jen's antenatal classes which are geared towards new mum's, specifically concentrating on the pelvic floor. The classes are relaxed, often out in the fresh air and tailored for each individual. Even 6 months post baby, I found I learned a lot from the classes. Jen helped me to understand how to breath while contracting the pelvic floor, how to mix exercise into my daily routine and the importance of strengthening the pelvic floor. By the end of the course I was able to get back to running, confident that my pelvic floor was strong enough to support me even as I tired.
I would definitely recommend the classes!
Awesome classes, highly recommend! Jenn & Troy at Phitkit make you work to achieve results through their encouragement and expertise in fitness. I love how they mix things up, cater for all abilities, take time to give one 2 one attention (even in group classes) and most importantly keep it fun!! Jenn's knowledge of women's health and issues is an added bonus. Thanks super team!!
