Cool place. Got to see good parts of the trip; dolphins, sealions. Sea lion was pretty chill by itself laying out on beach. Yeah, these guys did know where to look for. That's awesome and what I expected of course
Very busy on a public holiday. Took the ferry over to penguin island to see the fairy penguins and a bout tour to see the sea lions and dolphins. The staff on the ferry and boat tour are very friendly and welcoming. Once they spot a dolphin they will make a few passes to you can get a good photo or video. Although you don't see much at the bottom of the glass bottom boat just seaweed.
Always an adventure going to Penguin Island, it's a nice leisurely walk across the ocean at low tide, make sure to go in the early AM to beat the wind and its a nice ferry ride back to the main land once the tide has swelled and the winds kicked up.
Snacks are a must and a dry bag to keep the valuables safe.
Great for snorkelling, boating, swimming adventuring and penguin searching.
Must visit for tourists and locals alike. We joined the Penguin and Sea Lion Cruises. It was good fun. We even got to spot some dolphins in the wild.
However, the penguin feeding session was underwhelming. Nevertheless was still very educational.
They have only one cafe at the ticketing office. The "Pengos". Food is not bad. But it is very small place, it gets crowded very quickly.
Thank you for making our daughter's birthday extra special. We had an amazing time. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience Dolphins, Sea Lions, Penguins, Stingrays, Pelicans and much more in this stunning place. Our tour guide was very informative and the skipper took us to all the best spots. Thanks again, Mandy
