HISTORY. In 1991, 12 Germans in the Yarra Valley got together and formed a club with the view to retain the values of German traditions and culture. This was called the "German Speaking Society Yarra Valley". Over the years, the membership has grown to over of 300 members. Of the original 12 members, currently only 3 remain.
