Wilsons Promontory National Park. Wilsons Promontory, or the 'Prom' as it is affectionately known, is the southern most tip of the Australian mainland, situated 200 kilometres south east of Melbourne an easy three hour drive. From Canberra the park is 750 kilometres (approx 8 hours drive).
