There used to be some playground and picnic areas, and a faucet or some such for the spring water a fairly short walk from the main area. Not sure how much of it remains. From what I can see on the internet it is closed on Tuesdays but open 9-5 on the other days. Also a $10 entry fee it seems. Not sure how reliable that is though as the article ...

Can anybody help me find a mineral spring I used to go to as a kid?

Rumor was they were a potential liability. There was 1 in Warburton / Upper Yarra towards poweltown that has gone and another in Mt Dandenong which I used to access and fill up 60 liters of jugs with.
