Sorrento Foreshore Camping is recommended if you like a smaller camping ground, as it is just one kilometre in length along the foreshore with 150 sites. The sophisticated village of Sorrento is only a short drive away, as is the Sorrento to Queenscliff ferry which crosses Port Phillip Bay to the Bellarine Peninsula and the Great Ocean Road.
A little further along the coast, the Rye Foreshore Camping has a prime position along two kilometres of white sandy beaches and turquoise waters, with 175 sites. Facilities include shower and toilet blocks, grassy areas shaded by large trees, kids' play areas, barbecues, boat launching ramps close by and Rye village just over the road.
