New building next to old cafe & hydroponics. Lovely seating and atmosphere. Great food. Definitely go there.
It’s really good place to shop at When the virus is all gone the shops will be open everyone will be happy But we all still follow the rules that we have been given from the government thank you
Great, friendly staff. Top quality food and drink - highly recommended.
Fantastic to see that the seeds sown at MPH Cafe have transitioned to the new venue. The new building looks amazing and the service, food and most importantly - the coffee, have improved noticeably. Thrilled to have this Mt. Martha institution operating and will continue to have this place as my go-to for dining and coffee. Check it out if you haven't been before!
In the original corner store known as MPH Café, and now three generations on, 88 Craigie Road, Mt Martha is the new home to Donato est. 1980. A fresh new face for a local, Italian family café. We have created a unique meeting place for our local community and regular visitors to the Mornington Peninsula.
History repeats and once again, in 2018 a young Donato dreamed of something bigger: an Italian style Café and Restaurant, a place where everyone was welcomed and would feel at home, in a way that only an Italian family can show. Benvenuti da Donato, est 1980." - From the Donato Facebook page.
The Donato Story FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS IN ITALY TO A MT MARTHA CAFE. Our story begins when Nicola Donato, a young and hardworking Italian boy, decided that his little village Pizzo Calabo in Calabria was not big enough to contain all his ideas, dreams and aspirations.
