Update I called the Lott and the guy has put my request through to their it and it seems to work now (What was the issue?) I have been trying to login on the lott site for a week. I bought tickets last Saturday and ever since then it's not working. I have sent multiple emails and calls and no response.

Apparently, the Lott can do it quite easily and at lower pressure. So, is it worth paying the money for a Ruger #1 or M-77 for an extra 200-300 fps? I suspect one advantage of the 458 Lott is that ammo won't be quite as expensive as 416 Rigby or 470 Nitro Express though not much less expensive either.
the 450gr .458" TSX has a SD of a little over .3 which is more then needed especially at the high velocities this cartridge can produce. heck you could I know, the Lott/Watts was createdfrom a .375 case to do what the .458 Win Mag was supposed to do but had problems because of powder caking.
