The St Arnaud Community Cinema was a major achievement of the State Government funded St. Arnaud Community Capacity Building Initiative that ran for three years 2001-2004. The volunteer run cinema held its inaugural screening of "Cheaper by the Dozen" to a packed house on 5th March 2004.

Comments: James Gray (26/10/2017 08:38) Loved it! It has a feel to it that you don't get at the big cinema chains in the cities. It looks like it belongs in the 1960's-1980's with all the modern tech to make it a 10/10 experience (depending on the movie you watch of course).

Matthew Hart (03/04/2017 17:26) Great looking place. Just tiny seats and not very big screens. Loud enough. Not quite worth the ticket price though. Excellent popcorn. John Witte (28/03/2017 06:17) Cinemas smell these days and air conditioning does not work to well in summer. Movies do not stay on long enough to see. Films are getting pricey.
