History. The LabRats Science club began in 2010 at the Monash Science Centre (Now PrimeSci!) with support from CETEC and Monash University. Parents sought a place for their children to continue exploring their interest in science beyond what is provided at school and the school holiday programs which ran at the Monash Science Centre.
To display the activities and achievements of the LabRats Science Club, curious young scientists aged between 11 and 14 years. LabRats operates under PrimeSci! at Monash University, Australia, and proudly sponsored by CETEC Scientific Solutions, The Australian Synchotron, The Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne.

About LabRats. LabRats is an after school program designed to allow students to go more in depth and perform experiments that time or subject matter does not allow for during the general class hours. During these meetings, they are learning things in Forensics, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Archeology/Fossils, Robotics, etc.
