(February 24, 2019, 3:01 am)Great location - quiet with a great view of the river. Great coffee and great food. Fast, friendly service. I highly recommend the Coxswain's Breakfast, which is Eggs Benedict by another name. But beware, the portion size is large, and would be suitable for two people. Highly recommended.

(December 7, 2018, 3:16 am)Cafe 1909 has an indoor and outdoor eating area. There is a beautiful view of the Murray and the paddlesteamers. The food is delicious and the servings are big and priced well. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The cafe is very neat and clean. Well worth a visit.

(September 16, 2018, 2:51 am)Cafe 1909 is situated right on the banks of the Murray River. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly staff, food is very good, meal sizes are also good, but service can be a little slow when they are busy which seems to be most lunchtimes.
Morning and afternoon tea available as well as lunch.
Nice spot to watch the paddle steamer scope by and there are usually lots of water birds just below the restaurant.
Plenty of free parking close by, and is not far from where the paddle steamers depart for River cruises.
