Traffic School About the Traffic School. The traffic school, owned and managed by Latrobe City Council, was established to teach children pedestrian and bike safety in a safe, fun environment. Schools, preschools, specialist schools and other children's groups from across Gippsland use the facility for their traffic safety education programs.
The International Power Traffic School (was Valstar) in Morwell recently celebrated its 40th anniversary with the Kristy Olsen Bike Ed Challenge, a barbecue lunch and birthday cake. It is predominantly used by primary school children for traffic and bicycle safety education and is an important educational asset for the youth of Gippsland.

It was peak hour all day at the Morwell Traffic School yesterday. Latrobe City Council had more than 500 people come through the doors to use the facility, it was truly wonderful to see the kids riding on their bikes and scooters, including each other in games, and making new friends.
