About the clubs. The Morwell Cricket Club fields 3 senior men's teams that play on Saturday afternoons, a Women's team who play on Thursday evenings, a Woolworths Junior Blasters program on Saturday mornings, an U10 team on Tuesday nights, an U12 team on Monday nights, an U14 team on Wednesday nights and an U16 team which plays on Friday nights. We had 147 cricketers participate for the club last season and we look forward to you joining in with our ranks for a fun filled season ahead!

Morwell Cricket Club won its first premiership in 1893. Playing for the Mason Medals, Morwell defeated Yinnar in the grand final, 56 all out to 8/57 on March 4 and 11 that year. The 1890s were a particularly busy period for the club, often playing in two or even three leagues in any given season, with most leagues being made up of four teams and playing each other twice before a final.
