Chumanchu is a pretty cool place, stylish and modern. Perfect joint for a local hang out. Staff is nice and welcoming. Loved the food, tasty and not too spicy.

REVIEW Fu Manchu. This modern Vietnamese restaurant might take its name from a fictional and slightly racist evil villain, but it's all good here.
Absolutely amazing coffee here. Tucked away on the boarder of Thornbury and Preston. Been here 3-4 times and haven't been disappointed yet. They use DUKES COFFEE and espresso was one of the best I've had.

Chumanchu (formerly known as Fumanchu) is spacious, family-friendly and open from breakfast until dinner. Chu designed much of the interior himself and, being a local, was aware of the need for plenty of floor space to accommodate prams and big communal tables to seat families and birthday dinners.
