Stringybark Picnic Ground (Dandenong Valley Parklands) Popular with family gathers, the Stringybark Picnic Ground is situated by the main entrance of Jells Park. Bookable, the picnic ground can cater up to 200 people and contains barbecues, shelters and is a dog on-lead area.
This park has something for everyone. There is a picnic area with plenty of tables, free electric barbeques, park signboards with information on the area and plenty of parking. Note the the disabled parking area is nice and close to the entrance and from here it is a short walk to the picnic area. Tap water that is drinkable is available here.
Cranbourne Gardens' staff and volunteers have been trained by Vision Australia to deliver Audio Descriptor Tours. Tours can be booked at the Visitor Centre or on +61 3 5990 2200.
