This involves a 400 metre walk through a beautiful forest area, decorated with many trees and bushes, accompanied by a symphony of many birds.
Woodlands Picnic Area The Woodland Picnic Area is a fantastic bushland space for families and community groups. The Picnic Area is approx 400 metres from the car park and includes large open grasslands for ball games, a bicycle track, free barbecue facilities and a children's playground.

In the opposite direction to the stunning Australian Gardens, you find this wonderful woodland picnic area. Follow the bush track from the car park for around 400 meters to discover it. This is totally pram and bike friendly, but be on the lookout for wildlife. Signs say that you are sharing your path with snakes, so beware.
