Berwick Artists Society Inc. was formed in 1992 by a group of local artists keen to share their passion of the visual arts. Our purpose is to provide an environment which encourages local emerging, professional and hobby artists, and members of the public to network, develop their skills and contribute to art within the community. The Society has grown to become one of the major art societies in the City of Casey and the surrounding Southeast region.

The Society is for both amateur and professional artists, indeed for anyone having a love of the visual arts. It is incorporated in Victoria and run by a small Committee of Management on a volunteer basis. Berwick Artists Society was formed in 1992 by a group of local artists keen to share their passion of the visual arts. The purpose of the association is to provide a group environment where it encourages local emerging artists. Demonstrations by established arts are held every month (excepting January) in the Function room in the grounds of the Old Cheese Factory in Berwick.

Berwick Artists Society April 25· This weeks demonstration on Wednesday 28th May is by Antoinette Blyth. Antoinette is a water colourist who loves to portray nature in an impressionistic mode. Her paintings are vibrant and evoke emotion. Antoinette will be painting a still life. We start at 7.10pm in the Old Cheese Factory function room.
