A nice safe environment for your little fur kids to investigate and explore, loads of room when the tide is low, just need to watch out of the odd beached jelly fish or left overs of a fish that have washed ashore.
Parking is very close to the sand/shore so super easy access. The water fountain and toilets are a closer to the car park entrance. Which is a bit annoying as I'd probably like to rinse of the dog and my feet before leaving, but have to go out of the way to use the fountain. So we found bringing our own water for the dog much easier. Council here does not supply any bin or poo bags for this doggy beach, so bring your own bag. Careful not to leave your valuables on the beach, or in your bag. Very annoying to carry valuables when you want to enjoy a swim too, but better safe than sorry. Someone had their mobile stolen while we were there. Water seems clean enough for humans to swim too. Not too deep, more like a bath, but you can go out further for a proper swim. Really lovely locals and dogs too.
Much nicer dog beach than Brighton, beach is seperated from the road by cliffs so very it's safe to let your dog enjoy themselves off lead
Fairly small dog beach but lovely and flat, shallow waters and small car park so not too busy.
