(June 24, 2018, 3:01 am)I am a paddling tragic from Perth, WA training for the Avon Descent and wanted to keep my training up while on holiday in Hobart, which lead me to Hobart Paddle via the internet. I made an enquiry via the website's "Ask a Question" portal and got a reply from Ben within hours! Ben and his offsider Roz run dawn paddles most days around the wharf and up the river, and best of all can provide craft for hire at very reasonable rates. Craft options include Epics; V10, V8, V7's amongst others. I went with a V8 as it is most similar to the craft I'll be using for the Avon. The paddle itself was amazing! Paddling past the Antarctic research vessels and up toward the Tasman Bridge, starting in the dark and finishing as the sun rises. Magic!
Highly recommend. Basic paddling experience required.
