Fern Glade is a magnificent walk among large, spectacular tree ferns along the Emu River. If you are lucky you may see a platypus.
Fern Glade Reserve. Fern Glade Reserve is just 3.9km from the city centre. It offers long walks along the banks of the Emu River and the chance to see platypus surfacing. The Reserve, which also offers barbecue and picnic facilities and toilets, can be accessed by vehicles at the main entrance or from a second entrance 0.5km further up the river.
