This Double Disc unit was previously manufactured under PHM, AGPRO, STUBBLE KING and several other names. The addition of the Manutec Heavy Duty Coulter unit turns the standard double disc into a triple disc system. Manutec has been manufacturing agricultural parts for over 20 years and we carry spare parts for every system that we sell.
The patented Gent Opener, manufactured by K-HART, excels at residue cutting and minimizes soil disturbance. A 14" disc is mounted on the upper side of a 17" disc which is fastened at a 25 degree angle from vertical. Coming together on the leading edge, the discs slice a small angled opening in the soil for seed placement.
K-Hart No-Till Double Disc Openers. K-Hart double disc openers are designed to deliver accurate seed placement with minimal soil and residue disturbance. The openers have good stubble handling ability especially when teamed with a K-HART coulter. K-HART 3612 can be retrofitted to most chisel ploughs and combines.
