My friend recommended me this catering where they offer different dishes every week and we have been ordering 3 weeks in a row. Foods was amazing and very authentic along with a generous portion. The fish curry this week was a definite highlight where the fish was fresh and the curry taste super authentic.
Really enjoyed our Malaysian meal - including my parents who are from Malaysia. Very generous serves, tasty food, well presented. Lovely people who looked after us with kindness and generosity. Only thing is if ordering vegan, need to be more explicit about what can/can't be included. Nonetheless, we hope to order again!
If you go over the reviews you will see one word being used repeatedly. Authentic. And I cannot stress on it more. It's so delicious and really is a taste away from home. Their satay is the best I have had and can't wait to get more!
Hygienic and organised. Friendly and responsive. And the food has the home made authentic taste. I also like that its not super salty. There is hardly anyone cooking Malay style dishes in SA so when you find it- grab it.
Plus the simple fact that when you crave something its there. Not modified to Aussie taste but what you miss back home. Its a load off your chest to taste the food and its the correct home made taste. Its rarer than hen's teeth getting that taste.
Authentic, the richest and most flavourful Malay food I have ever tasted in Australia. Generous portion and great value for money. Highly recommended! All the best to Dapur Jiha and team members.
