"It is such a blessing that Luke Munro of Harcourts Toowoomba was recommended to me to manage my rental property in Toowoomba.
Not being from the Toowoomba area, we were very clueless about the housing rental market and the whole rental process. To add to the challenge, we were experiencing delays from the contractor who was building our rental property. Delay meant loss of rental income as time went by.
We did not have to worry for long. One of our close and trust-worthy friends recommend Luke. My friend simply described Luke as “very good”, which leaves a big void for me to ponder exactly what that meant. Getting the property ready for advertising/showing, finding the right tenants, and maintaining the property, etc..., takes a lot of experience, skills, and professionalism. Does “very good” encompass all the great qualities I look for in a property manager?
Because we are not from the Toowoomba area and had no other referrals, we took a chance with Luke and his team. And our gamble paid off handsomely.
First of all, Luke was very accommodating and punctual with our initial consultation appointments. Right away I could tell that Luke possesses a lot of experience and professionalism.
After he understood our situation, he wasted no time in suggesting what should be done to our property to make it more enticing to prospective tenants and to fetch the highest rent possible.
He then patiently explained about the rental market in the area. We were a little bit disappointed to learn that our property sits in a decent area, but definitely not in a “hot” rental market.
Next, Luke went to work right away by visiting our property site, talking to the contractor and trying to speed up the completion of the house so that we can start generating rental income.
In addition to being knowledgeable and experienced, Luke is also well connected. He actually already knew our contractor and tapped into their relationship to get the work done much sooner. Eventually he was able to ensure all the work was done and all the necessary amenities were added to the house within two weeks.
Then he jumped right in and drafted a very professional advertisement to market the rental property. It was very esthetically and eloquently written. Honestly, we were not expecting the process to have gone so smoothly, quickly, and ideally.
Within one week, Luke found an excellent candidate to rent our property. This was absolutely amazing because we had anticipated much longer time to find a tenant, let alone an excellent one.
We are extremely happy with the work of Luke and his team. And we will have no reservation in recommending Harcourts Toowoomba to anyone who needs professional assistance with their properties."
