Nice reserve. Great for short walks.
A beautiful small pocket of remnant native vegetation on the sunshine coast. There are very few places like this left and they must be preserved to maintain the biodiversity we've come to love about places like the Sunshine Coast. The forest contains one main pathway through to the backstreets from Alexandra Headland Beach and several other paths with a seat under the mature trees and a small bridge over the seasonal creek that runs through the forest. The Sunshine Coast Council along with volunteer groups maintain the integrity of the forest and it has been included into the council's list of conservation areas. Many birds, mammals and reptiles can be found through out like the variegated fairy wren, possums, snakes and goanna. Worth a look.
