Stayed here for a couple of nights with my wife, we wanted a quiet cold peaceful getaway, and I have to say this place ticked all the boxes, upon arrival we were met by Brendon who was super chilled and awesome and so helpful, a definite credit to the owners, he couldn't be more helpful. Our campsite was on the edge of Lake Edith, and while there was no water in the lake, you know, due to the massive drought, this did not worry us at all (we knew there was no water). It was peaceful, relaxing, quiet, absolutely everything we wanted. The facilities were amazing, clean, well thought out, you really couldn't ask for more... it really felt like a bush camp but with the added luxury of the toilets and shower. We met Tracey the owner and Snoop her dog, she was lovely and you can really see the vision they have for the place when you talk to her.. They have put so much time, effort and heart into making this place the way it is, that you really should do yourself a favor and go spend a looong weekend, or more out here and just chill. Stanthorpe is so close if you want to get out a bit too.
We can not wait to get back there.
Was the best experience ever! The mountain view was a good spot for us, with a nice rock table to sit your stuff on, and an amazing firepit to warm you up at cold nights. The scenery was breath-taking. 100% would come back here with my family and extended family!
The staff are very friendly and give great directions on where to go.
Best campsite ever!! It has all the facilities you might need and you will still feel like you're in raw nature. Everything is brand new and clean. There is garden with fresh veggies for anyone to enjoy. Other than that, there are many beautiful birds around the area and cute kangaroos. But the cherry on top of the pie is the customer service, if you behave well, you might find surprises at your campground ???????? Thank you Brendon and Tim!!
I stayed here with a few friends last weekend and it was one of the best camping experiences I’ve had in Queensland. Brendon was super responsive and helpful. We stayed in the mountain view section and the map Brendon provided made the campsites easy to find. The campground had great bathroom facilities and sold firewood. Brendon told us about some hikes leaving from the campground and they all turned out awesome and were well marked! Definitely hike to the top of Mt Ferguson! There are some steep rock faces you have to walk up in sections, but the view for sunset was so worth it! Definitely want to come back and stay here again.
We were very impressed with the amenities, cleanliness, signage, maping, walking trails and most of all the service. Brandan and Tim were very helpful and friendly going out of their way. We look forward to another stay when its rained and dams are full!
