south of Beaudesert, Andrew Drynan park has an impressive backdrop formed by Mt Chinghee. The drive from Brisbane will take a couple of hours. The park is divided by Lions Road. Running Creek is a lovely flowing creek which is very inviting in summer and the park offers a great bush camp among the trees. Toilets, BBQs, picnic tables and swimming.

Andrew Drynan Park Campground is approximately 2 hours' drive from Brisbane and the Gold Coast. It is 47 km from Beaudesert and 19 km south-east of Rathdowney. Follow Running Creek Road till you come onto Lions Road. There is a little gravel section but it is in pretty good condition. The rest is all bitumen.
Camp site. This site is set in a tight valley with grassy slopes rising up from Running Creek (link not correct!) on The Lions Road. The toilet block is set on a flat area with a couple of large trees and open area large enough for groups.
