The start-up aims to extract value from waste streams. Imagine you throw away an old printer or a computer monitor at the dump. Referred to as E-waste, UpCycle CQ takes those discarded electronic items, picks them apart, takes out the still functional components, and then uses those components to manufacture new goods.

The RESET project was held through the months of September - December in 2020 in three locations: Cairns (FNQ), Rockhampton (CQ) and Toowoomba (DD) with local activators to assist with design, communication and events management.
