  My car recently broke down on the Bruce highway and had it towed to a dealer in Gympie. Being a professional heavy vehicle driver I have a basic understanding in mechanics and maintenance costs. After receiving a very open quote which was poorly facilitated from the dealer I choose to have the vehicle towed to Velmec after viewing their 5 star rating on Google. Within an hour of speaking with Paul I had a comprehensive quotation on what was required to get my vehicle back on the road and at a very competitive price. Being an older vehicle, parts were promptly ordered into town to complete the job. Through the process Adam kept me up to date with what was happening over the phone each day. On the day I returned to Gympie via public transport Paul picked me up from the station to where I could collect and pay for my car. I was really overwhelmed with the professional service Velmec provided. It is really difficult to find an honest professional mechanic these days, Therefore I would have no hesitation in thoroughly recommend Velmec.
