Coach profile Shannon Ahern. Shannon has been involved in coaching and competing in Triathlon since 2000. With the background of accredited Level 1 Triathlon coaching, degree in Human Movement Studies and post graduate qualifications in Exercise Physiology, Shannon is able to develop specific nutritional and performance programs for all athletes of Westside Triathlon Club.
General club information — Westside Tri Club
The club was established in 2009 and is administered by a member elected committee. We have about ~50 members including juniors. The junior squad was officially kicked off for the 2012-2013 season. Our big races during the season are the QLD Tri series , Bribie Series, Noosa and Mooloolaba Olympic Distance triathlons, and Kingscliff races.
