  This place used to do great British style fish and hand cut chips, great gravy and lovely batter. Unfortunately it’s had a change of owner who has changed the recipes / ingredients so now it’s just bog standard stuff you can get anywhere. No more hand cut chips or juicy fish, chips are basically standard frozen ones you could get in a kebab shop.
  ...price has somehow gone up a few $$ too?!
  Probably won’t be back

  Hidden away at the Dinah Beach Cruising Yacht Association, the Chippy is an awesome place to get a feed of fresh local caught fish. It has to be by far the best fish and chips in Darwin - not fatty or greasy tasting and done in an amazing batter. The service provided by the staff was second to none.
  I highly recommend the Chippy to anyone wanting an delicious feed of fish and chips.

  The manager was wonderful. Our first experience was average and when we let him know, he was very apologetic and wanted to make amends and replace our entire order. It was cooked by a different person and thankfully it was a greatly improved experience.
