(December 27, 2021, 3:43 am)We came to lightening ridge for such a short trip we almost skipped doing this tour and making it a mission to find the good spots ourselves.
Thank goodness we didn’t! It’s such a benefit to have someone take you around this town properly. The tour guide talked about the people that have made lightening ridge the unique town it is. He explained why people move her and what mining involves.
We didn’t the 3 hour tour and have scones, jam and cream with tea and coffee waiting for us at the end.
Do yourself a favour and do a tour! It’s worth it. -

(December 17, 2019, 9:05 am)Great tour of Lightning Ridge. Great guides; super informative. I got to see most of the attractions, including going off road in a big old bus to visit some of the local homes. The guide, as always, makes it. And he was terrific.
