As Hongkies, we find the food 4 stars really nice. However, they are using too many plastic boxes for packaging, and won't bother to be more environmentally friendly. So 1 star deducted and in practice, I decide to go here only when I have strong desire for their nice food.
There s a reason why this place always have a queue. The food is good, cheap and hard to find in this side of Sydney.
I visit almost fortnightly.
Wanted to try the dim sum here for a while and finally brought some last weekend. What a treat! Got the beef cheung fun, football dumplings, glutinous rice with chicken wrapped in lotus leaf, taro dumplings, egg custard tarts, radish cake and sesame ball.
Very delicious! Texture and flavour were spot on! The only slight critique I would give is the glutinous rice with chicken wrapped in lotus leaf was missing that lotus leaf flavour and filling inside was a little lack lustre.
Definitely going again to try more.
Taste ok and affordable price. Frozen dim sum bit small in size.
Takeaway only venue for Dim Sim (frozen and fresh).
Freshly cooked Dim Sim available weekends only.
I have only tried the freshly cooked food.
5 stars for Egg tart (Tan Tat), dainty size the pastry is very flaky and egg custard is very flavoursome and soft.
The owners must take a lot of pride in their products. The oil they use must be fresh and not typical of usual Dim Sim restaurants.
