Destination Chargers can be configured in 13 different circuit breaker settings. These range from 15 amps to 100 amps and each amp level provides a different charge rate. The 15 amp setting charges at 8 km per hour while at 100 amps can charge up to 83 km per hour. You may also find a slower Destination Charger due to power sharing.

Sep 29, 2020. #9. Some Destination Chargers are unreliable. Scottsdale AZ. We decided to stay at the Scottsdale Marriott/Courtyard since it has 4 Tesla Destination Chargers, 2 on each pole. The first thing we did upon arrival was to plug the Tesla into one of the free chargers, located in the hotel parking lot.
Europe indeed uses CCS2 for DC Fast charging. Tesla Deatination chargers are not DC. They are regular AC chargers. Not sure if Tesla Destination chargers are the same in Europe as they are in the US. The upper part of the CCS2 is the same as the Mennekes Type 2 AC connector.

It surely saved the day, as I was on nil indicated range, but not turtle, and 5 miles from nearest rapid. Strictly speaking, I didn't "charge" the car, merely took a sip and continued on my journey.

One charged at 6.3kW, the other about 3.6kW. This solved a question/doubt I still had about Ioniq using these chargers.
