Sushi Tengoku is a tiny little Japanese restaurant in Kensington famous for their overly generous sushi servings. Whilst it may be considered taboo to play around with Japanese cuisine culture, it's hard to hate on quality larger than life seafood.

We came to Sushi Tengoku for giant sushi - and so, we couldn't leave without having giant sushi! We ordered 3 types of sushi nigiri - the salmon ($3.50 each), the kaibasira (aka sea scallops - $3.50 each), and the unagi ($4 each). Each of these were huge gigantic thick slices of salmon/unagi/scallop, wacked onto a normal sized rice ball.

IMO what makes the sushi is a) the freshness b) it cut c) its presentation I think sushi tengoku cuts it only on a) - I wouldn't recommend it unless you've got the munchies after getting high with a bunch of burly fellows who'd just as easily down hit o'galo's for a cup of grease across the road. Do not take a girl you're trying to impress.
