The Centre for Eye Health assists eye-care practitioners to optimally manage their patients. With more than 20 state-of-the-art instruments in one location. The Centre provides an extensive range of advanced testing to detect, investigate and monitor eye disease, at no charge to you or your patients.
Centre for Eye Health (CFEH) is a free referral service for people requiring specialised eye imaging and visual assessment. Economic circumstance, geographical location, language or physical ability should not be a barrier to accessing the best eye-testing and diagnostic facilities available at the Centre.
Inherited Retinal Dystrophy. Inherited retinal dystrophies are chronic and disabling disorders of visual function. The most common retinal dystrophy in Australia is the family of Retinitis Pigmentosa diseases that affect the retina, the light-sensitive part of the eye.
