This pretty, light wood frame is the perfect addition to making your propagation tubes really stand out. This particular station can hold up to three separate cuttings in two different heights of vases. This puts your plants front and center and highlights them as they grow. Buy: Vumdua Propagation Station, $7.99.
Buy it here: $16.89. 5. Hanging Test tube Propagation Station. Perfect for propagating small plants, this adorable hanging test tube propagation station is easy to hang and adds a really fun touch to your home. The frame is made of iron, while the test tube is made of heat resistant glass.
Step 4: Assemble and finish. I assembled my DIY plant propagation station using wood glue and a few nails. The nails aren't totally necessary if you don't have a nail gun. You can use wood glue and clamps to join all four pieces of the propagation station.
step 4: add water and plant cuttings. Once your propagation station has had time to cure you can begin taking cuttings from your existing plants to place in the propagation station. Remember, to keep this functional, do not put water in every single vase and try to evenly disperse where you place plants.
If you don't want to go hunting and pecking for them, you can easily order on Amazon. Then I cut the five pieces that make up the propagation station: a top, a bottom, two sides, and a support piece. The measurements for those pieces are as follows: (2) top and bottom pieces: 27″ long x 2 1/2″ wide x 1/2″ thick.
