  I attended the annual 'Australia Day' celebrations held on the morning of 26th January. It's a very historical location (a government farm) where the 'Battle of Parramatta' took place on March, 1797. It's here where both sides, Aboriginal Australians & British soldiers along with the settlers, suffered casualties but it was no slaughter.
  No much is left of the Settlement except for stone steps that can be found walking along the 'Settlers Track'.

  Steeped in history. This reserve has a very dark past. From the slaughter of our indigenous inhabitants to the thousands of convicts who were slaved to death here. I have frequented the creek since early childhood. It is peaceful and escaping. I wish people wouldn't litter though as it's disgusting.

  Plenty of parking, plenty of shade, lots of covered tables. Toilets were clean, 1 wheelchair access and 3 ambulant, all unisex. Clean play area no rubbish.
