10/29/2011. 1 photo. Dee Why Beach is an extensive 1.2m long stretch from the southern end which has the Ted Jackson reserve with a playround, picnic area, boardwalks and lookout platforms to the northern end which is Long Reef. There is one large ocean pool under the southern cliff.
There is an enclosed playground, with plenty of tables and seating, making it an ideal spot for families with young children. Dee Why beach is a patrolled surf beach and is a great place for swimming, body surfing and surfing.
