The sale of the business a couple of years ago fell through, so the original owners are still in business, but still anxious to retire from it. Since the announcement of the pending closure they have been inundated with orders, but they are having to close the business, put it in hibernation, because of the corona virus.
I really like the high set exhaust as well and would be keen to fit one but I do like the black aluminium can of the Barrett I just wish they did a high set like staintune. I agree 800 for a Can is a lot of dough.

Also, I don't really know why people think the staintune full system is so expensive. If you add a header pipe to any aftermarket slip-on, you're right there in staintune territory, and with the staintune you get a system that is custom made specifically for the DR650.
